About Corey
Corey graduated from Central Michigan University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Sport Management, with a focus in Recreation & Event Management.
Along with 10+ years of experience in coaching and officiating Youth Sports, Corey provides an extensive background in Event Planning as well. During his time at Central Michigan University, Corey planned a variety of Campus and City-wide events including and RPL 430 roller-skating extravaganza, Skate Back Bash, and the 2019 Mt Pleasant Gus Macker 3on3 Basketball Festival.
Corey has served the City of Eaton Rapids in a variety of ways as Youth Sports Coordinator Intern (May 2018-July 2019), Parks & Recreation Coordinator (July 2019-July 2022), and now Director of Parks, Recreation & Events. During his time with the City, Corey has assisted in the development of a number of youth and adult recreational programs, city-wide events and community outreach efforts.
