To all Eaton Rapids residents, due to the abundance of non-approved recycling materials being left at the recycling center, the recycling drop-off center located 301 Market Street, will be permanently closed. This closure will be effective by August 1st. There will be signs placed at the current location reminding you of this closing and directing you to other locations. Once all containers are removed, the area will be secured and closed.
In collaboration with the City Of Eaton Rapids, Hamlin Township and Eaton Rapids Township there are plans being made to re-open a new and improved recycling center at a new location, in the near future. Please watch for more information coming soon!
In order to continue your recycling efforts, please see other recycling locations listed on Eaton County’s Resource Recovery website, Local Recycling Centers | Eaton County, MI.
City of Eaton Rapids residents who contract with Granger Container for their trash removal, have the option of having a recycling cart at no additional cost. Please contact Granger Container for more information.
