City Of Eaton Rapids Notice Of Public Hearing For Proposed Resolution Establishing Regular Elections In November Of Each Even Year Commencing With The City Election Of November 2026
A public hearing will be held on a proposed resolution to modify election years from odd to even for city elections beginning in 2026. This change would not affect the 2023 city election. The hearing is an opportunity for the citizens to express their opinions, support, concerns, or opposition, and to be heard by the Council. If you do not wish to appear in person, you may submit your response regarding the topic in writing to the City Manager to be received on or before 12 p.m. noon on Friday August 25, 2023, by dropping off or emailing your submission to the City Manager.
The public hearing will be held at the City Council meeting on Monday, August 28 at 7:00 PM in the Council Chambers, City Hall, 200 S. Main St., Eaton Rapids, MI. A copy of the proposed resolution is available for inspection in the front vestibule of City Hall, or you may request a copy by email to yridge@cityofeatonrapids.gov.
