Dear Residents,
The City of Eaton Rapids Electric Department is planning a scheduled power outage in
your neighborhood. As we continue to upgrade our lines and equipment sometimes these
outages are necessary to preform our work both safely and efficiently. Our goal is to provide
our residents with the most reliable electric service that we can. By preforming work during
these short outages, we are trying to minimalize extended major outages.
Our crew will be working in your neighborhood on Friday, October 10th. We plan to
have the power off at approximately 11:00 AM, for expectantly no more than 2 hours. If by
some chance we have to cancel this time, we will reschedule for Tuesday, October 14th, with
an outage time and estimated length of outage the same as the prior date. For questions or
