Notice is hereby given that the Eaton Rapids Planning Commission will hold hearings at the  regularly scheduled meeting on December 6, 2021, at 7:00 PM at the Eaton Rapids City Hall, 200 S. Main St., Eaton Rapids, MI.

Said consideration will be for the review of a site plan to construct an addition to a Public Works Building for the following property:

 

23-300-054-602-111-01 commonly known as 301 Market Street

 

Owners of property within 300 feet of the above referenced parcels have been mailed a notice of this meeting. Interested parties will be given the opportunity to be heard at the public hearing.

Said Public Hearing Number One (1) will be to consider adoption of a Zoning Ordinance to amend Section 1.40 to Article I, Appendix A and to add Section 23.50 to Article XXIII, Appendix A, to protect the public health, safety, and welfare of the City of Eaton Rapids; and create a commercial medical marijuana facility overlay district in the South Industrial Park.

 

Said Public Hearing Number Two (2) will be to consider the adoption of a Zoning Ordinance to add Section 23.31 to Article XXIII, Appendix A to protect the health, safety, and welfare of the City of Eaton Rapids; and to provide regulations for the medical use of marijuana in the course of a home occupation in the Traditional Residential District (TRD), Low Density Single-Family Residential District (RD1), and Single-Family and Two-Family Residential District (RD2).
